- Telephone registration - payment must be made within three business
days for
Spring and Summer classes. Students registrering for the Fall semester
have until the last day of Summer classes to pay. After that date,
payment must be received within three business days.
- Walk-in registration - check, cash, or credit card. Payment must be made upon
registration for summer classes. Fall students have until July 26 to pay, after
that they must pay immediately upon registering.

In addition the the dates listed, departments have other advisement periods.
Returning technology students must contact their advisors
to schedule an appointment to complete the registration process. To confirm
your advisor assignment, call 454-3996 between 08:30 and 16:30.
Tuition is a major part of your college costs. In-state tuition costs
are paid by individuals and dependents of those for whom Delaware has
been the principal residence for at least six months, as well as those who
have been employed in the State of Delaware for at least six months.
Out-of-state tuition costs are paid by those who are not eligible for
in-state rates.
In-state tuition: $ 57.50 per credit; 12 or more credits $ 690.00
Out-of-state tuition: $143.75 per credit; 12 or more credits $1725.00
Deferred Tuition Plan
A deferred tuition payment plan is available. One third of the student's
total bill (tuition and fees) with a minimum payment of $175.00 ($438.00
out-of-state), whichever is greater, is payable at registration. See

Fees
A student service fee is charged to all students. The fee is $15.00
per semester for full-time students and $6.00 for part-time students.
There is a late registration fee of $25.00
A $4.50 per course materials fee is charged for all credit courses.
Some classes also require a lab fee. These fees are specified in
the courses listings available via the Web as well as on Master
Schedules posted in front of the Registrar's office.
Students must display a parking permit which
can be obtained in the Security office for $7.00 per year.

Books and Supplies
Books, supplies, and equipment costs vary with program requirements.
Financial Aid
You are encouraged to apply for financial aid as a part-time or full-time
students. Each year, eligible students at the Stanton/Wilmington Campus
receive grants and loans to help fund their education. Part-time on-campus
jobs are available throught the work-study program. You may obtain a copy
of the free Federal Student Aid Application and Student Guide from the
Financial Aid Office. Call (302) 571-5358 for additional details.
How to apply for Financial Aid:
- Pick up a financial aid application from the Financial Aid Office.
Remember, you must apply every year. Apply early.
- Accurately complete the financial aid application. If you need help completing it, or if you
have a question, contact the Financial Aid Office.
- Return the application to the Financial Aid Office at either campus for
processing. Do not mail the application. Be sure to keep copies of
everything. Remember: mistakes mean delays!
- If the Financial Aid Office sends you requests for additional information,
respond immediately!
- Financial Aid deadlines: Summer semester: May 1, Fall semester:
July 1
Students who have received their Financial Aid award letters should:
- First complete step 1 (Advisement) and step 2 (Registration)
- For step 3 (Payment), students should bring their award letter to the
Business Office to receive a validated schedule (or their registration will be canceled). If the
amount of aid awarded does not cover the bill, the student must settle the
balance at the Business Office.
- Students may register using DelDial with advisor approval. For summer classes,
students must then come to the Business Office within three business days to
validate their schedule or their registration will be canceled.
Students registering for the Fall Semester have until July 26 to pay.
After that date, payment must be received within three business days.
Students who have applied for Finaincial Aid, but have not yet been
awarded
- Call the Financial Aid Office to obtain the stauts of their application
Scholarships
The Stanton/Wilmington Campus offers scholarships to qualified applicants
and current students to help fund their education. Scholarships are awarded
based upon academic excellence, leadership, and involvement in student or
civic affairs. Part-time as well as full-time students may apply for
scholarships. Financial need may be considered but is not a deciding
factor for the awarding of scholarships.
- Obtain an admission application by calling (302) 888-5288.
Complete it and return it to the Stanton Campus with a $10 fee.
- Request that your high school and/or college transcripts be sent
to the Admissions Office.
- Arrange to take the College Placement Test (CPT) unless you have
already completed college-level Mathematics and English courses with a
"C" grade or better. The CPT is administered by the Admissions Office
(302) 571-5343 and is used to determine appropriate course placement.
- Meet with a Delaware Tech counselor to discuss
your CPT results and select your course schedule.
- Remember to apply and register early for the best selection of
courses.

You may also pick up a complete catalog
at the campus. You may register for courses by phone (454-3956), fax,
mail, or in-person. Enrollment is limited and registrations are
accepted on a first come first serve basis.
